Weaning Workshop
Informal and informative session about introducing solid food into your little ones diet. Ideal for parents of babies aged 3-6 months.

Whats covered:
What is weaning, when to start, how to start, baby led weaning, staged/pureed foods, what they can eat and when, how to make your own foods, money saving ideas, drinks, milk and food, choking vs gagging, and much more!
Baby and Child First Aid Class
If a child in your care had an accident or fell ill would you know what to do?
Whether you're an expectant parent, parent, grandparent or carer of a baby or young child, we would do anything to protect the mini people in our lives.

Mini First Aid Wakefield & Barnsley hold a 2 hour baby & paediatric first aid class at The Secret Garden. It provides family and friends with the knowledge and skills to save a child's life.
The class covers the main first aid emergencies, including CPR, choking, bumps, bleeds,burns, breaks, febrile convulsions and meningitis.

Are you 5-9yrs old? Do you love to design and build things from Lego?

It's a fun 2hr workshop learning things about robotics and automation using the amazing Lego We do.2 kits. The sessions are aimed at beginners and children who have no experience of the We do.2 kits.

These workshops are suitable for children aged 5-9yrs. Places are limited so you are advised to book early.
